The endless, timeless seas
For endless depths I’m drawn to sea I can’t absorb its might waves wash my ears & clear my mind of terrors in the night On imprisoned thoughts the ocean spitz and calls the wind to wrap removing all the useless bitz we treasure, but are traps Seaweed pulls my ankles in soft coral stops my toes fish spines see they break my skin ocean magic time well knows Bones were living now are sand ’neath blues so prominent water whispers stories grand of sunken continents And history sin
