Quote Gallery: Original Aphorisms & Quotes

As an artist, writer, and creator, I have always been drawn to the combination of words and images.

Long before social media, I collected meaningful quotes, photographs, paintings, passages from books, and small observations about life, keeping them tucked away like treasures to revisit when needed.

I recently began to make a few of my own treasures. Some of these quotes originated in my published books, Two Seconds of Eternity and Poetry Dust. Others are stand-alone reflections inspired by the subjects that most often find their way into my work: time, meaning, consciousness, creativity, love, human nature, and the experience of being alive.

Below you will find a small but growing collection of original quotes, aphorisms, and philosophical reflections paired with imagery and artwork. All are pieces of a larger conversations that continues to unfold in my Philosophical Greenhouse.

Garden of the Mind

Garden of the Mind

"We are the eyes through which creation witnesses itself."

Architecture of Form

Architecture of Form

“Only here, within form, can singularity be experienced or known at all, for beyond form there can be no division.”

Connection & the Human Experience

Connection & the Human Experience

"We are each like a grain of sand, thinking we are not the shore."

Our Connected lives

Our Connected lives

"Each of us a gear that turns another, even as another turns us."

Time

Time

"I am here now. And no matter when you read this, so are you."

On Bearing Reality

On Bearing Reality

"Everywhere I turn, life breaks my heart. And just when I think I need a stronger one, life rebuilds it no less tender."

Love

Love

"This much remains: We come from love, and we return to love to a fullness that needs no name, and yet fills all the space of what we are."

Philosophical Greenhouse

Philosophical Greenhouse

"Each of us enters life filled with the earth of a dormant garden, holding within us the seeds of every possibility, and what one waters, grows."

Seeing the Positive

Seeing the Positive

"All the things life has brought to me have been good- except for those that were bad. And I am starting to see the good in those.

Hate

Hate

"The habit of hate is spreading like venom in a polarized world, pushing us to pick sides and label everything. Yet hate is hate, no matter whom you hate. I do not wish for that to fester in me and become one of my life accumulations and habits."
